-- Arizona Cardinals QB John Skelton will miss as many as four weeks after suffering a low ankle sprain in Sunday’s season opener. Kevin Kolb came into the game in relief and helped led the Cardinals to a win and cover over Seattle. Arizona travels to New England and 13.5-point underdogs in Week 2.

-- Philadelphia has won 20 of its last 28 games at Citizens Bank Park to even its home record at 37-37. The Phillies are -159 home faves versus Miami Wednesday.

-- San Diego has won 20 of its last 26 games at Petco Park. The Padres are +123 home underdogs hosting St. Louis Wednesday.

-- New York manager Terry Collins indicated Tuesday the Mets will start at least eight different pitchers in the team’s final 18 games, in order to give a look to top prospects Jenrry Mejia and Jeurys Familia.

-- Only two Indians players - Shin-Soo Choo and Carlos Santana - have recorded a hit against Texas SP Ryan Dempster. The rest of the team is 0-for-17 against him. The Tribe are +226 road underdogs Wednesday.

-- Milwaukee has won eight straight and is 16-2 over its last 18 games at Miller Park. The Brewers are -139 home faves hosting the Braves Wednesday.

-- South Florida is 0-8 against the spread in its last eight Thursday games and 0-6 in the last six home contests. The Bulls take on Rutgers as 9.5-point favorites Thursday.
