Kemp's shoulder keeping him out

Matt Kemp is still not 100 percent and after a pair of injection to reduce the inflammation in his left shoulder, all the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder can do right now is wait to see how his body reacts to the treatment .
Kemp is optimistic that he will be able to return to action, perhaps as early as Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, Kemp told reporters that his shoulder felt "the same" one day after the shots, and that's hardly a ringing endorsement of his true feelings about how much improvement his shoulder has seen.
