Los angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen feels he could pitch again Thursday, but he's aiming for a Tuesday return, reports MLB.com.
Jansen is on blood thinners and needs to et off them fully before returning to the field, but apparently the heart condition has subsided and doctors have cleared him to play.
The Dodgers have been using Brandon League in the closer role since Jansen became unavailable and hasn't allowed a run since August 17. He has just two saves in Jansen's absence, but the Dodgers haven't given him but the two chances.
