Could Profar land in the outfield?


Heralded Rangers prospect Jurickson Profar made a big splash Sunday, belting a solo homer in his first major league at-bat.
Somewhat overlooked in Sunday's heroics in Cleveland was why Profar was in the starting lineup in the first place. Ian Kinsler was scratched with tightness in his lower back, but could be back in the lineup on Monday when the Rangers open a four-game series in Kansas City, reports MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan.
The Rangers will continue to use the 19-year-old Profar as an extra infielder off the bench and could very well include him on their postseason roster. ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney says the Rangers could find a different role for Profar:
