Could Perez be shipped out?

Cleveland Indians closer Chris Perez called out the club's ownership for not being more aggressive in the free agent market in an interview with FOXSports.com's Jon Morosi.
"Different owners,"Perez said, suggesting the reason why his team and theDetroit Tigers are on opposite ends of the success spectrum. "It comes down to that. They (the Tigers) are spending money. He (Ilitch) wants to win. Even when the economy was down (in Detroit), he spent money. He's got a team to show for it. You get what you pay for in baseball."
How the club's owner, Larry Dolan, approaches things going forward is anyone's guess -- no, not the payroll situation, the problem with Perez. It's not often an employee can call out the owner and stay in town and be part of the future plans and Perez's name came up over the summer as a potential trade chip.
It would be no surprise if GM Chris Antonetti traded Perez over the winter, and there's still a good chance to get a decent return.
