New deal for Soriano?

New York Yankees closer Rafael Soriano may opt out of his deal with the club after the season, reports CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman.
Soriano, who is set to make $14 million in 2013, could look to get a multi-year deal instead for a lot more guaranteed money. If he returns to the Yankees, he's likely to set up Mariano Rivera again, provided Rivera's comeback goes as planned.
On the open market, Soriano would one of three proven top flight closers available, joining Detroit's Jose Valverde and Tampa's Fernando Rodney. Whether there are three multi-year deals out there for closers remains to be seen.
