Granderson day-to-day

When Curtis Granderson left Saturday's game with a tight right hamstring just a few innings after he felt "something" while running in the field, the team and allNew York Yankees fans were probably on high alert. After an MRI revealed no sign of a tear, one could hear the collective sigh of relief across all of Yankee Nation.
With Mark Teixeira still out with a calf strain and Alex Rodriguez (broken hand) still a day or two away from returning to the lineup, now is not a good time for the team to be suffering any more injuries and going to even more piecemeal defensive configurations. It looks like the Yankees dodged another bullet here.
