Strasburg won't pinch-hit

Stephen Strasburg has looked as fluid at the plate as on the mound. TheWashington Nationals' ace is hitting .333 in 33 at-bats, which raises the question of whether the 24-year-old could be used as a pinch-hitter. Don't hold your breath.
"I don't want nothing to happen to him hittin' when he ain't pitchin'. But I've thought about it," manager Davey Johnson tells Adam Kilgore of theWashington Post.
Johnson says there is as much chance of employing Strasburg as a pinch hitter as Bryce Harper, a former catcher, has of being used behind the plate in an emergency.
