As a result of the suspension of Melky Cabrera, the San Francisco Giants are out looking for an outfielder, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com.
Among the names mentioned include Alfonso Soriano, who appears set to use his no-trade rights to block a deal to the Giants, and as Rosenthal writes Thursday, Scott Hairston and Juan Pierre could become options but have yet to be placed on waivers.
Another idea being thrown about via Twitter is Jeff Francoeur of the Kansas City Royals, who is owed $6.75 million for 2013 and could be a player the Royals are willing to move considering the presence of prospect Wil Myers.
