Ok so the home winning streak over and now the Tigers face yet another challenge today against New York's Hiroki Kuroda. Fresh off their first home loss in three weeks, the Tigers try to end Kuroda's recent success Thursday in the conclusion of their four-game set with the Yankees.
One-half game behind Chicago in the AL Central, the Tigers (60-51) had won six straight overall and 16 of 17 at home. Prince Fielder had two hits and newcomer Jeff Baker drove home two runs as Detroit nearly overcame a 7-0 deficit before the Yankees scored four times in the final two innings.

While both pitchers have put up great numbers, it's Fister who i am concerned with. I dont believe his numbers are sustainable. I also believe today he just might struggle. The total in this game was 9 which i played early but it has now dropped to 8.5 and while i believe that number is ok, it's not my main focus. I'm focusing on Fister and the likelihood he will get drilled today. Detroit has a good bullpen and should hold the runs later in the game. NY's is better but i can easily see Kuroda going 7 innings, possibly 8 today. Let's hope the weather holds off and gets this game in so we can make some money early in the day. Take the Yankees. Good Luck
