Ben Sheets remains on the 15-day disabled list but threw from 90 feet Tuesday and reported no problems with his ailing right shoulder.
The Atlanta Braves have gone back to a five-man rotation and are likely to stick with that plan for another few weeks at least. Once the postseason arrives -- if the Braves hang on and qualify -- Sheets could find himself in a relief role, as the club would need at most four starting pitchers for October.
Sheets is expected to proceed with caution as he attempts to get back on the active roster, so none of the club's starters right now are likely to be in jeopardy of losing their gig.
